Our wedding date has officially been set!! Corey and I just got back from finding our beautiful wedding resort. Its on for... Sunday June 6th, 2010 and will be the day we will never forget. Not only did we find our wedding resort but we were also able to relax and enjoy the sunny hot weather for 4 days in Mexico.

Rebecca & Chris Take California

This past weekend one of my best friends from childhood (Rebecca) and her husband (Chris) came to visit Corey and I for a long weekend. From football watching to celebrating Danny's 35th birthday we had a blast hanging out with them. The weather was nice so we did a touristy day checking out the Santa Monica promenade on Friday and played volleyball ACES on the beach Saturday morning. They even got to see Trey perform at The Shore on Friday night which was really fun especially since Becca, Trey and I all went to high school together. Here are some photos capturing the weekend. Lake Havasu Weekend

What a fun weekend with friends celebrating Erin's 27th birthday in Lake Havasu- Arizona! Thanks to Erin's meticulous planning we had two huge suites at The London Bridge Resort and two pontoon boats to cruise the lake on all weekend. From hangin at the sandbar to cliff diving at Copper Canyon we had a blast. The only tragedy was Adam losing his wedding ring on the first day while putting on sunscreen. We were just about ready to pull away from the docks and into the water it flew. Such a bummer for Adam but we made sure he had so much fun to temporarily forget about it.

The Grove - Gavin Rossdale

Wednesday Night I met Erin up at The Grove for a little free Gavin Rossdale Concert. Not only was Gavin's performance fun but we also got to see Gwen and the kiddos since Erin got us up front VIP style. Such a fun little girls night- Thanks Erin!!

Birthday Weekend - Trey, Brit & Bob's

This weekend was a triple threat celebrating 3 birthdays each on a separate day. Friday kicked off with a concert by Trey and a party for him at The Side Door & Fonz's in Manhattan Beach. I know Trey had a blast because he only remembers the first half of the evening thanks to the tequila shots. Nice work Trey!

Saturday we moved on to celebrate Brittany's birthday with a surprise BBQ at their place. Yes, JWinters planned yet another surprise party for BritBrit (does every year- I love it!) Big success since Brit was the winner of LRC and picked up a quick $50+ bucks.

Sunday was Bob's (Corey's dad) big day with a BBQ around the pool with family. I know Bob had a great time too since all he had to do was show up. Big success and I know the kids had fun as well.

We're Engaged!!

Yes, it's true! Corey popped the question early Sunday morning and asked me to marry him!! We both are beyond thrilled. Not only did he surprise me (truly he surprised me which is hard to do) but he incorporated both of our families into the surprise. Here are a few pics from one of the best days of my life. Proposal and Engagement Party all in one day. I could not have envisioned more fun. Thanks Corey- you are without a doubt my best friend in the world!!

Trey's Concert @ The Shore

Friday night Trey played for his 50+ closest friends at a bar in Hermosa called "The Shore". We've seen Trey play a lot but every time I swear he gets better and better. My aunt and uncle were in town again to watch my cousin/their daughter Kristi play in the Hermosa Beach AVP Tourney so we grabbed dinner before the show. Trey is unbelievably talented so when he makes it to the big time he better not forget his biggest fans. Here are a few pics from the evening. Thanks again Trey for a great night to remember!!
